Fall 2023 Chimney Sweeping - Date TBA

We are currently working on booking our annual chimney sweeping. Once the contract has been negotiated the Chimney Sweep will give us about a week notice before coming to residences. This generally happens on the weekend. The sweep will need access to each unit in order to complete the cleaning of each chimney. The HOA will not be covering any cleaning needed outside this timeframe. The annual sweep is required under our insurance policy and proof of service will have to be provided within 30 days of the Community Sweep. A notice with this date will be sent out to Homeowners upon booking.

Ash Removal

As winter creeps closer many of us will turn to our wood burning fire stoves to beat the chill and cozy up our homes. This is a friendly reminder to NOT dump your ashes into the trash dumpsters. Fires have occurred in the past and for everyone’s safety we ask that ashes be taken to the DESIGNATED ASH DUMPSTER. The designated dumpster is located across Country Club Heights Drive from the middle complex building.

Trash Areas and Public Dumping

In efforts to keeping our garbage areas clean and orderly, public dumping is now being turned into the city and individuals tracked down and potentially fined. If you see any public dumping, you are encouraged to take a photo or take down a license plate number and information turned over to the HOA Board or directed to (SO & SO @ ###). This goes a long way in helping keep our little community clean. In addition to public dumping, Homeowner’s within the association may be fined for furniture and other trash left within the garbage areas. These fines cover the cost of the sanitation department coming out and removing the trash.

Winter is Coming and Fast

As the impending winter weather will soon be in our midst, now is a great time to consider winterizing your home. This includes disconnecting hoses and shutting your crawl space vent. Not winterizing properly may end up causing costly damages such as frozen pipes. Please feel free to contact CCHeights HOA if you need help locating vents.

We Want You

The Country Club Heights HOA is under new management! A new President has been appointed for the first time in almost 20 years and new owners have been added to the board. As existing experience coincides with fresh blood, an eager group of individuals who want the best for our neighborhood and the families within are now at the helm. We need your help! In order to vote on important issues pressing our community, we need a 2/3 owner’s vote and this requires attendance and participation. Be the change you want to see in your community! We hope to announce a meeting date before the New Year!

Association Dues

Beginning January 1st, 2024 delinquent HOA dues over ($ amt) will be turned into collections. These fees cover the maintenance and upkeep of common areas and parking lots, snow and garbage removal, among many other additional expenses that keep our community running such as insurances. Life happens and we understand. If you have issues paying dues, please contact the HOA Board. Collection delays will be voted on on an individual basis.
